Childhood Vaccinations and Immunisations Limerick
Ennis Road Medical Centre offers a full childhood vaccination service. The Government funds a free vaccination service for young children.
Further details on your child's recommended vaccines can be found at www.immunisation.ie. We would also encourage parents to consider further vaccination against diseases such as chicken pox and meningitis B which we are happy to organise if requested. Please discuss your child's immunisation needs with our doctors or nurses if you have any further questions.
We understand that many parents may have concerns about childhood vaccination. Unfortunately there is a large amount of misinformation on the internet and we would encourage parents to consult the HSE website www.immunisation.ie in the first instance. This site provides extensive information about vaccines and if parents have any further queries we would encourage discussion with one of our medical staff.
Please see the national vaccination schedule below.

Hurricane Ophelia
Category: GeneralDue to the unprecedented storm expected to hit Limerick on Monday and the weather warnings from Met Eireann we are asking patients not to travel unless absolutely necessary. Our ability to provide general practice services on this day cannot be guaranteed at this point in time though we will endeavour to do so if safe. We are advised that UL hospitals group has cancelled all outpatients appointments but the Emergency department at University Hospital Limerick is open as normal and the local injury unit in St Johns will be open from 9am to 6pm.More: Hurricane Ophelia -
